Sunday Musings & "Sending Faxes to God Inc."

I found this fantastic article/story today, on my Sunday morning meanderings through links that came in my email.... and later I received my own "FAX from God Inc." ! (more below)

But first, I opened an email from the What-the-Bleep-The-Movie Yahoo Group [ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/what-the-bleep-the-movie/ ] that led to this cool website:

It is in its very beginning stages, but the long-term goal is truly inspiring. In the process of signing up for the free membership to the site, I was asked for a few comments about myself, and this is what I wrote:

"I've always wanted to help people understand our connection as being All One, and to embrace our differences with respect, joy, love, and even celebration -- while also knowing, understanding, and honoring the ways we are the SAME, acknowledging the SACRED nature of each human soul."

And I'd add, "...no matter what their spiritual background or religious preferences, because I believe we all originate from, and are in the process of returning to, the same Ultimate Source of unconditional, ALL-INCLUSIVE, love, acceptance, and never-ending creative energy."

Finding http://www.mindcontact.org/ sent me on a typical fun, meandering surfing session, exploring the site and then opening another email that arrived from Suzanne Burns, Publicist and Executive Assistant to Dr. JoeVitale. Joe is the author of the well-known book "Spiritual Marketing" -- which I discovered is being RE-NAMED and re-released this spring as The Attractor Factor : 5 Easy Steps for Creating Wealth (or Anything Else) from the Inside Out

Then, from Joe's site, I wound up on the site of an Abundance Coach, Velma Gallant, and I read a very clever ARTICLE there called "Sending Faxes to God Inc." that I wanted to share with you, and so I started to write this message . . .

But then, I got sidetracked for awhile onto working on my website, adding links to Joe's new book and other books from Amazon.com to the Prosperity & Abundance pages, and I visited the page for daily quotes from Abraham-Hicks... WHERE I received my own "FAX from God Inc." as described in the above ARTICLE . . .

You see, this week, I've been personally wrestling with that age-old, universal question that goes something like * * * WHY Am I REALLY Here? and I MEAN, REALLY!?!?!? * * *

And, today's Abraham quote gives as simple, yet profound, an answer as I could ever hope for!

"As you have made the decision to be here, to experience life, you have intended to understand, through this physical life process, the Creative Process, that you may deliberately create that which you choose within this physical life experience. It is your dominant intention as you are in physical form at this time."

It would take a book to thoroughly explain just how apt this quote is to me, coming after this particular week and the particular thoughts I've privately had and the particular conversation I had with one of my key mentors. (You know who you are, THANKS so much, again!)

I mean, this quote, this explanation encompasses all the other reasons I could come up with for a life purpose -- because no matter which path I choose, whichever path inspires me the most, I can still fulfill the above-stated intention!

In the days when I thought "knowing the purpose of my life" could be narrowed down to THE ONE perfect role/job/career, I wanted God to tell me "Your most perfect choice is ____." And I worried that anthing deviating from that would mean that this life will not have been given its highest marks and would leave me behind on the quest for "enlightenment" !

But I've come to understand -- although often have forgotten, and am reminded again today -- that the purpose of life is much broader than making only one narrow, "right" choice out of the infinite possibilites that we are all given -- actually, that we've all GIVEN OURSELVES, as beings infinitely connected and a part of whatever you choose to name that Ultimate Force.

On another note, and yet tied to all the above, because I'm seeking the most inspired way at this time in my life to create the ABUNDANCE I am finally learning is my birthright -- that is, EVERYONE's Divine Birthright, including me -- I've launched a BRAND NEW enterprise this week, and I'd love to share that with you, too...
