A Little Bit of Prosperity Humor!

My prosperity mentor, Marilyn Jenett, posted this today... Enjoy!
~Laurie

My Aliens Have Landed!!

We all have to laugh at ourselves and it's even better when we can have others laugh with us.

The Universe has blessed me with the gifts of a very talented Feel Free To Prosper student and I couldn't wait to share her gifts with you.

You don't have to be a student of my program to appreciate Dianne Reum's special style and I am thrilled to be the focus of her special humor.

I had given her my idea for the second item, and she brought that vision to reality better than I could have ever imagined.

For chuckles...

Happy Monday!

Friday night I had dinner with family to celebrate my neice's 10th birthday, and it was a fun evening of DELICIOUS, SCRUMPTIOUS home-cooked food that my step-mother made. I really appreciated that, because I am NOT a good cook, and get frustrated very easily trying to be! And, I'm too interested in too many other things to spend much time on cooking, so I do NOT qualify as any kind of domestic goddess! (Same goes for housework!) :o)

Then we sat around watching my niece's birthday gift DVD of "A Cinderella Story" -- it made me laugh a lot, actually! :o)

Then, I've been pretty much glued to the computer and phone all weekend... and you know I always mention my love for my Cat, Jaguar (Jag for short)...

Well, he's very smart! He knows I need to come up for air every now and then! So, when he feels it's time for me to take a "play break" but I'm not cooperating, he comes over and very delicately reaches up and digs the tips of his claws into my thigh to get my attention!

Oh my, I'm afraid I'm not always appreciative enough of Jag's attempts to do me GOOD!

When I finally pay attention, we play one of our many little Cat Games, and I end up laughing like crazy... ya gotta love those laughter endorphins! :o)

Those of you who are NOT cat lovers, probably think I'm speaking Greek about this!

Those of you who ARE cat lovers... take a time-out today to PLAY with your cat(s), and let yourself be in the moment FULLY! It'll do you POWERFUL good! :o)

Confirmation of "the WHY" of this...

I have to share this with you!

I've been getting "Notes from The Universe" for a long time, and some days they are just SO 'on target' !

(well actually, they really are EVERY day, but sometimes I get an extra insight)...

Today the Note speaks directly to WHY I am doing prosperity exercises and energy work every day... and I add visualizations into my day as best as I can, and intend to do it even more every day (the kind where I am INSIDE my visualization rather than watching myself from the outside-in).

To get your very own Notes, go to Tut's Adventurers' Club -- Scroll to the very bottom of the page to where it says: Click Here to receive Mike Dooley's "Notes from the Universe" FREE!

TODAY'S NOTE:

Subject: TUT * A Note... from the Universe
Date: Tue, 19 Oct 2004 03:23:42 -0400 (EDT)

Laurie, if you could take a daily pill that would profoundly speed-up the manifestation of all your dreams, would you take it without fail?

I thought so.

What if it was a big, ugly pill that took 5 minutes to dissolve on your tongue, and it tasted like medicine. Would you still do it?

Yes, all of your dreams...

Thought so.

But what if during those 5 minutes each day you couldn't watch TV, or talk with friends, or distract yourself in any way from your chore?

Wow, you must really want a highest dreams come true in ease peace love grace!*, and all those other awesome life-changes!

*[I programed this into the database when I signed up to receive the notes, it's all automatic after that, and you can make up your own when you sign up.]

OK, what if you could skip the pill bit entirely, but instead you had to set aside 5 minutes a day to visualize, in a dark and quite room, seeing your life unfold as if all your dreams were coming true, and, for good measure you had to say or do something, each day, that implied the same.

No, you can't go back to the pill idea.

Yours,
The Universe

PS: It works for me, Laurie. Now I'm using it to improve my spelling.

Great article on Visualization by one of my mentors!

I'll be adding this to the articles at http://www.LKSuccess.com ... but I wanted to to get this "out there" because it's such a great article on Visualization!

More later... Enjoy!

Are You Visualizing Out "There" Or From "Within"?

Visualize: to see or form a mental image of

Let’s discuss a bit about visualizing...

First, let me start by noting that there is a percentage of the population that is unable to visualize in mental pictures. There is nothing wrong with this, it is just the way their brains function. But they can visualize by “feeling” the result or goal they wish to attain. In fact, I believe that the feeling aspect of imagining is much more powerful and magnetic than the picturing aspect.

Now, you can make mental pictures or get specific details and create a “dream” board to establish your goal in your subconscious mind. These techniques are often recommended as a way to condition the subconscious and they have some benefit. They will encourage you to focus on what you want.

But I have a very different idea about visualization (which for our purposes, will include both picturing and feeling a goal).

Let’s say you close your eyes to see yourself achieving a goal. You see yourself “out there” on the screen of space, watching yourself going through the motions, almost like watching a movie.

Or you make your dream board or treasure map or whatever you wish to call it. You are looking at things on this board that you want to possess or you have pictures of yourself on this board doing or being what you want. You are still looking at yourself “out there”.

Again, these may have some benefit, especially if visualizing in this way produces in you a corresponding feeling of having what you want.

Now, here is the most powerful way to visualize and the fastest way to manifest results.

You visualize from “within”. You are the actor in the role, seeing the world through your own eyes, looking out at the world as if you already are what you want to be or already possess what you desire. You take on this role and live in this consciousness over and over until it feels natural. As you rehearse this role, your subconscious will accept it and it will become your natural state of being.

You will take on the mental and emotional state of the end result and then... at just the right moment you will experience this reality in the outer world. The outer world must become what you have accepted inwardly.

So here is the difference. Let’s use "Bev" as an example. Bev wants a new digital camera:

Bev can picture the camera she wants. She can paste up photos, study it in detail, commit it to memory. And she just may suddenly see these cameras all over the place. But will she accept subconsciously that this camera is hers? Maybe.

Or Bev can play the role. Become the actress holding the camera up to her eyes, feel herself focusing “her” camera on her artwork, maybe even feel the slight weight of the camera in it’s carrying case as it swings against her as she walks. She can close her eyes and feel herself placing her camera in it’s spot on her shelf at home. If Bev were not able to make mental pictures clearly, then all she would need to do is create the feeling that she already possessed her camera. The feeling of satisfaction of owning the camera. Not desiring or wanting it... because if you already have something, then you wouldn’t be desiring or wanting it, would you?

You are the actor in the role, playing the part of being, doing, having whatever it is you want. From the inside out. From within your own consciousness, you already ARE that person, you are already DOING what you want, you already HAVE what you desire.

That is true visualization.

Cause of Death - Christopher Reeve

I just sent the following message to the Xango Yahoo Group, a discussion list for XanGo distributors like myself. My discovery happened after my last post about Christopher Reeve here, and the message speaks for itself.

This is just TOO coincidental to ignore!

TO XANGO YAHOO GROUP:

Hello everybody,

Today I read that Christopher Reeve died, and I was SHOCKED.

At first I didn't know HOW he died.

I looked up news of is death on a search engine and found this link:

http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2004-10-11-reeve-obit_x.htm

First mention was that he died of heart failure, which I thought is VERY UNFAIR after all he's been through.

Then, I caught THIS particular paragraph, and it struck me like someone hit me:

"His publicist said Reeve fell into a coma Saturday after going into cardiac arrest at his home in Pound Ridge, N.Y. In the past week, Reeve had been treated for a bloodstream infection caused by a bedsore. He died at Northern Westchester Hospital surrounded by his family."

I am STRUCK by the fact that he had an infection the week before his heart failure.

Dr. Templeman was just here in Minneapolis this weekend with Sherman Unkefer, and his lecture was OUTSTANDING.

There is NO WAY I can put all I learned into words here in an email...

But there was something I learned that applies to this news exactly, that I'd never heard before, about the cause of some heart attacks.

It may be discussed in the Q&A session on the DVD by Dr. Templeman, but I've only watched the first disk.

He talked about this in his live lecture on Saturday...

And I am only a layperson, and I'm afraid I'll get this wrong...

But essentially, he reported that a large percentage of the deaths from cardiac arrests were in people who did NOT have a high enough level of the plaque in their arteries to warrant a heart attack.

And SOMEHOW, they've discovered that many of those particular people had infections in their systems, and/or that the plaque in the heart arteries showed signs of infection...

If any of the health professionals on this list could elaborate, that would be awesome!

But bottom line, from what I learned, my personal understanding is that Chris Reeves' heart attack COULD have been caused -- or contributed to somehow -- by his bloodstream infection that initiated from a bed sore.

Again, I am struck by HOW UNFAIR that is, after all he's been through and what an example of human courage and perseverance he's been to us all!

And, that is why (only one of the many reasons) the anti-bacterial and anti-viral effects of the Mangosteen and Xanthones are so essential!

I hope I've written this to make sense!

In sadness, yet with hope,
Laurie

Legacy of Christopher Reeve

I was so shocked to read today about the death of Christopher Reeve.

Stephen Simon has written a beautiful message about this inspirational person with a beautiful and courageous spirit, that I feel honored to share here, below.

I attended a live lecture by Stephen Simon here in Minneapolis about two years ago, and I love and respect his mission to create a new genre of films he calls "Spiritual Cinema" -- his websites are given at the end of this message.

Knowing that we do not "die" when our body dies -- yet honoring our sadness for the loss of his presence and the pain his family and friends feel -- let us also celebrate the gift of his life, his example, and that Chris -- a true Superman -- is once again whole and free.

From: Stephen Simon of The Spiritual Cinema Circle and Moving Messages Media

Hello To Our Worldwide Spiritual Cinema Community,

Christopher Reeve was the most courageous human being I have ever known.
I first met Chris in February of 1979.

SUPERMAN had opened just two months earlier and Chris was the hottest young actor in the world. I was a young producer with a little film called SOMEWHERE IN TIME in development at Universal and, for various reasons, it was made clear to me by Universal that the only way they would "greenlight" our film was to get Chris to play the lead. Chris was getting $2 million offers at that time and the budget for entire film was only $4 million. His agent didn't even want to show Chris our script but we got it to him and he committed to playing the lead for about 25% of what he was getting offered elsewhere.

Chris didn't care much about what the business thought he "was supposed to do." He cared about the craft of acting and he wanted to stretch himself by playing a character as diametrically different from Superman as he could find. So he became Richard Collier in SOMEWHERE IN TIME and, with Jane Seymour, created a timeless love story about a man who committed himself to be with the woman he loved.... through the sheer force of his own indomitable will.

That's why Chris' death came as such a great shock to me.

I believed with every ounce of my being that his sheer will would someday have him walking again.

The last time I saw him was about 2 years ago at his house in upstate New York. He was tremendously excited to be spending more and more time off the respirator to which he had been so tethered. He proudly showed me how he could move his finger on command and he was thrilled that he could actually spend so many precious minutes each day actually "smelling the coffee" when he was off his respirator. We were talking about working together again on a film project that he would direct and he teasingly asked me how much I wanted him for his directorial ability and how much for the publicity value of having him direct a film. I knew he was setting me up for a punchline---Chris had an amazing sense of humor about himself--so I laughingly told him that my interest was solely on the publicity angle. That was exactly the answer that I knew he wanted. His eyes lit up and he said "Well, just imagine how great the publicity will be when I am actually out of this chair when I direct the film."

He believed it.

So did I.

Tragically, his body gave out yesterday....but not his will....and certainly not the indelible imprint of his spirit. The man who portrayed "Superman" on the screen actually personified that very energy in "real" life and it will be that image of grace, courage, and dignity that will form the legacy of Christopher Reeve. In the end, he indeed won his battle after all.

I celebrate that legacy with a bow of my head to a man who now walks again....into the majesty, power, and grace that his life will symbolize forever.

He created a new standard for the indomitability of the human spirit and his life will stand forever as a reminder to future generations of who we can be as a humanity when we operate at our very best.

My First Audio Blog!

this is an audio post - click to play

ABUNDANCE ABOUNDS in AUDIO!

Oh WOW!

I just finished posting my first AUDIO blog a couple minutes ago!

I am SO excited and thankful for finding this cool Blog website and the free services that come along with it!

I can post pictures easily! It did take me awhile to figure out what I was doing, but it will go more smoothly from now on...

AND THEN I discovered the Audio Blog add-on, also FREE...

I can use this audio service from any phone from anywhere, from any phone!

I can even copy and paste the URL/link from the Address bar of the web page that appears where the message plays, and then I could even send that URL in an email or post it on another web page -- and my message will play there, too!

I had recently been considering the idea of PAYING for an online audio service!

This is another example of the Abundance that the Universe is sending my way, especially since beginning my work with
Marilyn Jenett about 3-4 weeks ago!

Extra resources and assistance have been showing up in regards to building my
XanGo[TM] business... for instance, I sponsored two new distributors since beginning the prosperity work with Marilyn, and yesterday my own XanGo Sponsor gifted me with some overflow leads she had recently generated!

Finding this site and these resources today was a great event!

Which reminds me, I've spent enough time on this Blog stuff for today :o) ... I've got calls to make!

And tonight we're having a huge, live Xango event right here in my own backyard -- with Dr. Templeman, who is featured at
Research Mangosteen -- and Sherman Unkefer, author of our wildly successful business presentation called "The Magic Wand"!

Things are picking up at a good pace... I look forward to sharing lots more good news here.

I'll also use this Blog occasionally for my Gratitude Lists, and snippets of info with links to *good stuff* and new success resources that I find!

What we focus on grows... sharing my successes with you here will "amp up the vibes!" :o)
